Great Bustards return to Salisbury Plain

On the final day of our South Coast Wildlife Extravaganza tour in late May, we took part in a visit to the Great Bustard project in Wiltshire. As part of this visit, we were taken to a large hide to see the birds from as close as is normally allowed. There was quite a bit of activity of both the bustards and other wildlife including seeing a male bustard being mobbed by a pair of lapwings! Later, another male (or was it the same male) did a bit of display for us!
