Hummingbirds in the rain!

I have just returned from a week at the wonderful Asa Wright Centre in Trinidad. There cannot be many places better for watching hummingbirds. I think I saw about 7 different species. It was entertaining to see how these extraordinary little birds feed and also how they behave when it rains heavily (which it did several times during our stay). The White-necked jacobins find a branch and spread themselves out and just have a shower
