Avon Gorge Peregrine chicks fledge!

On about June 10th 2021, three peregrine chicks fledged in the Avon Gorge. People started to assemble to look out for them. I was fortunate to have two encounters within a few days. First, one of the chicks crash landed in a bush 30 metres away and then flew off (lower pair of images). A couple of days later, I spotted two chicks on the rocks just below me; one of them

was calling out to the adults to be fed (upper pair of images).
