Guarding territory!

I have been observing the Silver washed fritillaries on The Downs behaving as if they are guarding their territories. They are flying about vigorously and investigating any intruders such as other butterflies and even me! Occasionally, they settle to suck in nectar to keep them going - this gives me a chance to take a shot!
